Deerhorn Cedar Collection

We collected our deerhorn cedar fronds in Silverton, Oregon, on grounds belonging to a rare conifer dealer who had invited us to walk through his exceptional trees and take clippings. Sitting on Chris's shoulders, Laurily reached up into the boughs as we hunted for inspiration lower down. She found in the bright green, new growth tips of mature branches. They form the core of this collection: the physical shape of resilience and new growth.

About Rings

Rings are made to order and built to size. Please include a note about your exact size and we'll make it happen for you.

A farmer in Silverton, Oregon, has cultivated a small forest filled with hundreds of rare conifers, from spiky fronds of cedars of Lebanon, to golden tendrils of Lawson cypress. When he invited us to walk through his exceptional trees and take clippings, Chris swung Laurily up on his shoulders, where she reached into the upper reaches of the trees, while we hunted for treasures below. With her child’s eye, she found our favorite piece of the day: the bright green tips that signal new growth from mature branches. They form the core of this collection: the actual shape of resilience and new life.
